Overview
CLEARion Elite is a see-through electric fireplace from Napoleon. It builds into a wall between two rooms, so the flames are seen from both sides, and each side has its own heater and its own remote control. Privacy glass turns the view through the fire on or off at the touch of a button. There is no flue, gas or fuel.

Before you buy
- For indoor use only. Napoleon states it is not suitable for a bathroom.
- Plug and play: it comes with a power cord and plugs into a 240 V power point on its own 10 amp circuit.
- It is built into a wall between two rooms, so involve your builder early. The wall must be 114 to 203 mm thick, and walls of 114 mm need the deep trim.
- Keep curtains, furniture and bedding at least 914 mm away from both sides.
- It adds warmth to the room you are in. It is not a replacement for your main heating.
- It is heavy and the glass is fragile: allow two people to lift and install it.

No flue required. Electric.
Clearance requirements
Keep curtains, furniture, bedding and other combustible items at least 914 mm away from the front and the back. A mantel must be at least 203 mm above the trim. Bottom and sides: no clearance needed. Do not cover the heater vents.
FAQs
Does it need a flue or gas?
No. It is electric. There is no flue, no chimney, no gas and nothing to burn, so there is no smoke, ash or fumes.
Can I install it myself?
The wall opening is a job for a builder, because CLEARion Elite is built into a wall between two rooms. The fireplace itself is plug and play: it plugs into a power point, so there is no gas fitter and no flue. Give your builder the installation manual under Downloads before the wall is framed.
Does it plug in?
Yes. It is plug and play: it comes with a power cord and plugs into a 240 V power point on its own 10 amp earthed circuit. Do not use an extension cord or power board.
What is the privacy glass?
The glass in the middle of the fireplace can switch between see-through, half and fully private. See-through, you look through the flames into the next room. Private, each room sees its own fire but not through it. You can lock it in private mode.
How do I control it?
Each side has its own touch panel and its own remote control, and two remotes are supplied. You can set the privacy glass, the orange and blue flame brightness, flame speed, ember bed colour, the heat on that side, the thermostat and a timer from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
Will it heat my room?
It has a built-in fan heater with a thermostat, and the heat output is in the Specifications tab. That is similar to a plug-in electric heater, so it takes the chill off the room you are sitting in. It is not a replacement for your main heating.
You can also run the flames with the heat off, all year round.
What is included?
The fireplace with black trim on both sides, a fitted log set with topaz glass, crystal embers as an alternative, two remote controls, mounting brackets and the manual. Stainless steel and deep trims are optional extras.
What is the warranty?
Napoleon gives a 3 year limited warranty on parts, from the date of installation. Labour for warranty repairs is covered in the first year. Keep your proof of purchase.
How long does delivery take?
