Overview
The Clare 100S B is the largest freestanding Clare by ADF, for big rooms and open-plan living, with room for logs up to 84 cm long. It is sold as the firebox: choose a bottom box, low bench or pedestal.
Why choose the ADF Clare 100S
- For big spaces. Heats 150 to 200 m² and takes logs up to 84 cm long.
- Choose your base. A matching bottom box, the low bench or a pedestal.
- One control. A single slider sets the primary, secondary and glass air.
- Clean burning. A vermiculite-lined 5 mm steel firebox and pre-heated combustion air burn off smoke particles and gases.
- Less smoke when you reload. An automatic flue damper increases the draught when the door opens.
- Easy to live with. Ash drawer, concealed door opening and an anti-condensation system.
- Outside air if you need it. It can take combustion air from outside, through the bottom or the rear, with the optional air intake kit.

Before you buy

- The price is for the firebox only. Bases are sold separately. Some photos show optional bases, frames, fans or shields. You can tick the ones you want when you add the fireplace to your cart.
- It also needs a flue kit: choose one that suits its 7 inch flue when you add the fireplace to your cart, or have your installer supply the flue.
- It stands on a non-combustible hearth. Installation and the hearth are not included.
- A licensed installer must fit it, following the installation manual. Some states need a certificate of compliance.
- ADF fireplaces are ordered in from the Australian distributor. Ask us about stock and delivery times before you order.

FAQs
What is the warranty?
ADF gives a 10 year warranty on the firebox and 5 years on most components. Ask us for the full warranty terms before you order.
Who can install it?
A licensed installer, following the supplier installation manual. Some states need a certificate of compliance for the installation.
Do I need the flue kit?
Every wood fireplace needs a flue. You can add the matching flue kit when you add the fireplace to your cart, or your installer can supply the flue instead.

What wood should I burn?
Seasoned hardwood only. The moisture content should be under 25%, and 12 to 20% is best. Smaller logs burn cleaner, longer and hotter than large ones. Never burn treated or painted timber, driftwood or building offcuts.
