Overview
The Mt Blanc Aquatec is the hydronic version of the Mt Blanc 970: it heats the room and also heats water for a hydronic central heating system.
Why choose the Mt Blanc Aquatec
- Big view of the fire. A large glass window with a deep firebox.
- Clean burning. Primary and secondary air with three-stage combustion keeps the glass clear.
- Built to last. A cast iron firebox lined with vermiculite, inside a painted steel body with smoke- and odour-free Senotherm paint.
- Outside air ready. Combustion air can be ducted in from outside, and it is prepared for automatic combustion control.
- Heat other rooms. Works with natural convection, hot-air ducting to other rooms or a heat-storing enclosure.
- Made in Europe. Built by Kobok in Slovakia, with a 5 year warranty on the steel body.

Before you buy
- It is built into a non-combustible enclosure (for example Skamotec board or refractory blocks), never timber framing. Installation, the hearth and the surround are not included.
- It needs a flue: 8 inch (200 mm), at least 4.5 m long, with triple-skin flue above the enclosure. Your installer supplies and fits the flue kit.
- It connects to a hydronic system (buffer tank, radiators or floor heating), which a licensed plumber or hydronic installer must design and install.
- A licensed installer must fit it, following the installation guide under Downloads, and issue a certificate of compliance for the flue.
- Kobok fireplaces are ordered in from the Australian importer and shipped from Mansfield, Victoria. Ask us about stock and delivery times before you order.
